The Canadiens were in Vancouver for the first of three against the Canucks in a late game on Wednesday night. Tyler Toffoli was out for revenge against his old team, the referees really made their presence known in this game, and the Habs showed plenty of fight in the series opener.      

Once again the Habs were in Edmonton to face off against Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and the rest of the Oilers. The Oilers were better prepared for the Canadiens this time, but Jake Allen was great in his Habs debut and the penalty kill took care of business.
