The Habs picked up their first win of the season in their second game giving them 3 out of 4 points to start the season on the road. Not bad at all. Paul Byron made his mark with a pair in this one as the Canadiens out-played the Penguins in every aspect and look like a whole different club from last year.

Your Montreal Canadiens’ 2018-2019 season kicked-off in Toronto on Wednesday night and though it’s a day late, Zach is back for another season of The Recency Bias. While Toronto’s stars showed up enough to deliver two points for the potential powerhouse Maple Leafs, the Habs threw out a solid showing as Jesperi Kotkaniemi made his NHL debut and picked up an assist in the effort.
