Carey Price made a triumphant return to the Montreal Canadiens’ crease on Saturday night with a shutout against the lowly Buffalo Sabres while Alex Galchenyuk broke a goal-scoring drought and Byron found his first shorty of the year. It was a rare night of good stuff at the Bell Centre!

The odds were not in the Habs favour on Wednesday night in Nashville with Antti Niemi in nets and Shea Weber out of the line-up. The Canadiens failed to get a win, but they did earn a point, which is a moral victory of sorts in these dark times.
