From t-shirt guy to rumours of Pacioretty being shopped, it seemed everything of interest that happened in the Habs final game of 2017 was off the ice. That makes sense when you consider how little your Montreal Canadiens had going for them on the ice.

The Habs showed that the bad blood between themselves and the Lightning still exists, even if these two teams are no where near one another in the standings. The Canadiens made a respectful show of things for the better part two periods, but in the end the more talented team won out.
